Student teachers have been coming to Coláiste Chiaráin for many years to benefit from the combination of inspiring classes delivered by enthusiastic and creative teachers, and the range of musical, cultural and sporting workshops and events organised in the College. The beautiful location, An Cheathrú Rua in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht, boasts unparalleled beaches and walks. Classes take place in An Crompán, in modern purpose-built classrooms with the latest technology and students stay in guesthouses approved by An Roinn Ealaíon, Oidhreachta agus Gaeltachta where they are immersed in the Irish language spoken by an teaghlaigh.
